Funny Comparison of a Pit Bull and Chihuahua Puts Stereotypes to Shame

Every dog or cat has their own personality. While their temperament can have something to do with their breed, their behavior is also often related to their owner.

Pit bull Knight shows the world how aggressive he really is in a video that his owner stitched with an aggressive little Chihuahua. Let's see for ourselves!

So true!

Despite their muscular appearance, pit bulls often sport a heart as big as their paws. These misunderstood sweethearts have been known to be gentle giants with a love for cuddles and belly rubs that could melt even the iciest of hearts.

I also have a pittie, and he's the sweetest soul. He's scared of the wind, the rain, trash bags, and small dogs.

Chihuahuas, like any breed of dog, can exhibit a range of personalities and behaviors, and not all Chihuahuas are aggressive. However, Chihuahuas do have a reputation for being more prone to certain behavioral tendencies that might come across as aggressive, such as territorial behavior, owner's influence, and what's called a "small dog complex."

That being said, a tiny Chihuahua, with its "Don't mess with me!" attitude, can sometimes pack more bark than bite. That's because Chihuahuas are prone to developing this "small dog syndrome," which could occur due to a lack of consistent discipline and training. The Chihuahua then believes it's the pack leader and can act out aggressively.

It's like the doggy equivalent of a feisty Napoleon complex, making it more of a theatrical performer than a true tough guy; however, proceed with caution. The Chihuahua in the video definitely didn't just bark but was ready to attack.

Whereas Knight just opened his mouth, gently and playful.

Many well-socialized and properly trained pit bulls are friendly, affectionate, and gentle pets, such as Knight. However, some pit bulls might have a stronger prey drive or guarding instincts due to their history, which can lead to unwanted behaviors if not managed appropriately.

Both scenarios are possible, but it's also proven that pit bulls are great around kids, affectionate and gentle giants who wouldn't hurt their owners but protect them instead.

This example should be a reminder that you can't and shouldn't "judge a book by its cover," as any dog breed can be aggressive.
