Tom Brady is making a "comeback" to football before he was ever truly gone—and the internet's got jokes upon jokes as a welcome back present.

On March 13, the polarizing football legend and seven-time Super Bowl champion posted an "un-retirement" announcement to both his Instagram and Twitter accounts, sharing that he'll return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next season. According to ESPN, Brady's retirement stint lasted a whopping 40 days.

"These past two months I have realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands," the 44-year-old quarterback wrote in his announcement. "That time will come. But it’s not now."

He added, "I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. Without them, none of this is possible. I’m coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. We have unfinished business." Brady closed the post with his favorite aggressive acronym, LFG or "let's fucking go."

As you can probably surmise, the internet was quick to post reactions—and jabs—about Brady's not-so-surprising return to football. Among the sea of quips was a Twitter reaction by Los Angeles Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey, who was almost the last player ever to give up a touchdown pass to Brady.

But Ramsey's reaction certainly isn't the only noteworthy reply to Brady's NFL return. Check out some other stand-out reactions to Tom Brady's "un-retirement" announcement below.
