Funko Announced Its Disney Villains Makeup Line
Funko, the creator of adorable figurines and other fun pop culture-inspired items, announced its entering the world of beauty. For its grand debut of a Funko cosmetics collection, the company teamed up with Disney and will bring to life the beauty routines of some of your fave villains.
Arriving online and to Ulta Beauty stores in September, the Funko Pop! and Disney Cosmetics Collection is centered on four famous villains — Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Ursula and Cruella de Vil. All products are gluten free and cruelty-free, Funko reports on its website, and each villain's set comes with an eyeshadow palette, lip glosses, eyeliner, and brush set.
Funko fans got a sneak peek at the packaging via an Instagram post, and the choice of coloring stays true to the identity of each villain. Maleficent's palette includes plenty of purple and shades of light blue, while the Evil Queen appears to have a collection of neutral colored eyeshadows. Naturally, Cruella's palette includes a lot of bold, bright reds, and Ursula's collection features some shades worthy of the sand and sea.
There's no word on pricing, yet, but this isn't the first line inspired by Disney villains to hit store shelves. Previous villains-inspired products included a nail polish line and a fashion line from The Blonds. Of course, if happily ever after is more your speed, there are plenty of princess-inspired products, too, including a ColourPop collection and some tasty looking baked goodies you might be able to recreate at home.
