Fun events planned for the weekend in Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. —  It is finally Friday and you know what that means! It’s time to take a look at some of the events happening across the Memphis area this weekend.

Let’s start with Friday being Trolley Night. South Main Shops and Restaurants will be open late with live music, shopping deals, restaurant specials, and fun for all ages. Plus there will even be live music on the trolleys. This is tonight from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.

Saturday is the Overton Square Crawfish Festival from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be food, music and fun. Entry is free but food and drinks are extra.

Saturday is also Brewfest at the Mississippi Ale House in Olive Branch. Tickets range from $50 to $85. There will be music, giveaways and more than 200 beers for you to try.

If you want to witness some of the best dancers in the south, head over to Crosstown Concourse on Saturday for the Red Bull Dance Your Style Regional Qualifier. This takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are about $12 each. There will be local dancers and guest performances.

Chuck E. Cheese is holding a Sensory Sensitive Sunday this weekend. This is in recognition of April being World Autism Month. They will open two hours early for those who would better enjoy playing with the lights dimmed and lower noises. This is from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.

Also Sunday, 200 Santas will be going down Beale Street in a parade during the Santa Convention! This is at noon. You can come out and see the best Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus from around the world as they spread joy this weekend.
