As an actor with a young child at home, it makes sense that John Stamos would want to show his son Billy moments from his time on Full House. But in typical parenting fashion, the response he received left him completely perplexed.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the Grandfathered star opened up about giving the 5 year old (whom he shares with wife Caitlin McHugh) a taste of some of his career moments. As John shared that he has sat down with Billy to watch That's My Jam and Full House, he disclosed that the latter didn't necessarily go as intended. It turns out that Billy has poked fun at his dad over his portrayal of Jesse Katsopolis in the 1990s sitcom.

"I say, 'Do you want to watch That's My Jam?' Finally I thought, 'He’s going to like that show,' because he watches Full House but he mocks me for it," he said to host Jimmy Fallon during the April 3 taping. "It’s like, 'You know, Billy, can you put your toys away?' He’d go, 'You got it, dude.'"

When Full House fans discovered that John's son loves using Michelle Tanner (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen)'s iconic catchphrase to joke with him, they immediately began laughing about the full circle moment. Many viewers voiced their thoughts on Billy's TV preferences in the comments on social media, totally relating to how the actor reacted to it.

"Sounds like his son has a great sense of humor. Haha too cute 😂❤️," one person wrote on Instagram. "You got it dude 🤣 priceless ♥️🙂💜💜💜💜⭐️⭐️💜💜💜," a different user added. "I’m cracking up," another follower laughed.

Aside from the upcoming book author's kid teasing him about Full House, it wasn't the only show Billy had opinions about. As John later clarified in the late night TV interview, Billy implied that he only won his episode of That's My Jam because he broke the rules of the games.

"So, we put on That's My Jam and [Billy] watches it and goes, 'You're cheating.'" he quipped. "I'm not cheating — I was not!" But Jimmy backed the claim by pulling out a photo of John peeking behind a makeshift wall at The Office star Craig Robinson playing charades, telling him, "Yeah, he's right."

Needless to say, Billy knows how to make an impression on his father, and here's hoping it's not too long before John reveals another hilarious tale from the Stamos household.
