‘Full House’ Star Jodie Sweetin Has Fun With ‘Candy Cane’ Cast After Surgery

The actress is embracing the holiday spirit as she recovers.

Jodie Sweetin of Full House and Fuller House might have to stay off her feet this holiday season after scheduled foot surgery, but she's not letting that stop her from spreading joy. 

The 40-year-old actress posted a photo on Instagram of herself in a big foot cast that goes up to her knee, wrapped in red and green to look like a candy cane.

"If you’re going to have foot surgery over the holidays (planned this time, not an accident), at the very LEAST make sure they wrap you up and make you look festive!!" Sweetin joked in the caption.

She continued: "If you need me… my Candy Cane foot and I will be laying in bed watching Christmas movies, doing puzzles and really leaning into being an old lady for a few weeks!"

Clueless star Elisa Donovan commented on the photo, "Stay horizontal and enjoy it, sister!! Heal swiftly ❤️🎄."

Actor Jon Lee Brody also shared well-wishes for Sweetin, writing, "Oh dang. Hope it’s a quick recovery. Sending all the healing vibes!"

Kate Mansi of Days of Our Lives loved Sweetin's positivity in light of the situation. She wrote in the comments, "Oh no!!! But what a testament for a good sense of humor babe!"

As Sweetin watches holiday movies and recovers, she can add her own two new flicks to the list.

The first movie is Lifetime's Merry Swissmas, co-starring Schitt's Creek's Tim Rozon, about a woman named Alex (Sweetin) who travels to Switzerland to help her mom open an inn, only to meet a charming guy named Liam (Rozon) and form a connection.

The second is the Hallmark Channel's A Cozy Christmas Inn, which also stars David O'Donnell. This film features Sweetin playing a real estate executive who goes to Alaska to buy a beautiful inn, but her plans get complicated when she finds out that the current owner is her ex-boyfriend, played by O'Donnell.
