Last week Nintendo and Lego revealed an adorable Animal Crossing Lego collection that made fans lose it, with a small teaser video showing a few different Animal Crossing minifigs. Now, Lego has lifted the lid off the crossover, revealing five full sets that look absolutely adorable — and importantly, a release date.

In a news post on the Lego website, the company showed off all the new Animal Crossing Lego sets due to launch next year. It includes, as we expected, Nook’s Cranny, as well as a birthday set for Julian, a set where Isabelle visits Fauna’s house to help decorate, and a set with Kapp’n and fan favorite villager Marshal which has a bunch of wonderful island-themed builds.

The sets are pretty reasonably priced too, with the 170-piece Julian’s Birthday Party set selling for $14.99, all the way up to the Nook’s Cranny and Rosie’s House set, which will set you back $74.99. If you wanted to buy all of the currently revealed sets, it would cost $179.95, which is a hefty chunk of change, but pretty good value when you see everything that’s included.

It sounds like Nintendo was pretty hands-on when creating the set, as you’d expect after the strong hands-on approach it took with previous Super Mario Lego, with Nintendo game producer Aya Kyogoku saying that bringing Animal Crossing to Lego was a perfect fit.

“The Animal Crossing video game series is about creating a world where you freely build the life you want, and now with LEGO bricks, you can build that world with your own hands in the real world too,” Kyogoku said, “Putting the sets together is only the beginning. Kids can use the furniture, plants, and more, included with each set, to customize them or even combine multiple sets to create their own village.”

Lego says that the new Animal Crossing Lego sets will be available globally at Lego stores, online, and at retailers on March 1, 2024.
