The New Fruity Pebbles Crisps Let You Eat Cereal in Chip Form
If you’ve been thinking that there have been a lot of new Fruity Pebbles products coming out recently, you’re absolutely right. The brand is celebrating its 50th birthday in 2021, which could be the reason behind Post Consumer Brands’ big push in new treats. The latest spin on the cereal comes in the form of Fruity Pebbles Crisps.
The crispy rice snacks appears that someone piled the cereal into a circle and put an iron to it. The treats are flat, round, chip-like pieces that are made from colorful Fruity Pebbles. It gives you the ability to eat breakfast on the go, but we can’t help but wonder what it would be like to pour the snack into a bowl with some milk. Giant Fruity Pebbles, anyone?
Just like how Post couldn’t do just Fruity Pebbles coffee creamer, it can’t just do Fruity Pebbles Crisps. The chips come in Cocoa Pebbles Crisps as well, in case you prefer the chocolatey version over the fruity.
Post hasn’t addressed the new crisps yet, but bags have already been rolling out at various grocery stores, including Giant, Food Lion, and Hy-Vee. We’ll keep an eye out to see if it gets released in a wider variety of stores.
You might be wondering why Fruity Pebbles Crisps are even necessary when you could very well just eat dry cereal from the box. But if you’re asking that, clearly you’ve never had Fruity Pebbles only to find pieces of it on the floor and counter for days to come.
