Birthday cake is on today’s breakfast menu! Kellogg’s Froot Loops Birthday Cake flavor is on shelves now, so this is your go ahead to leave work and run to the store.

The cereal is strawberry birthday cake-flavored and features pink, purple, and tan freckled rings. The limited-edition sweetened multigrain cereal has been spotted in Target, so get there ASAP.

🍓🎂 Strawberry Birthday Cake Froot Loops are out now! Bought at Target. • 🥣 We would have been unamused with this release since we’ve had Canada’s Birthday Cake Froot Loops before, but adding strawberry to this is certainly a welcomed addition that actually makes this cereal better in every way. Kellogg’s has been making their cereals with simpler ingredients too, and despite this, the color, smell, and taste remains impressive! The birthday cake flavor outweighs the strawberry a bit, but they still work together well. 🍓: When you barely contribute to the group project but still get an A.

Happy birthday … to you! Or should I say, all of us. Kellogg’s is reportedly releasing a limited-edition Froot Loops Birthday Cake flavor. So yes, you can eat cake for breakfast.

Instagram account @candyhunting revealed a photo of the upcoming cereal on April 20. The packaging shows pink, purple, and yellow cereal rings. We can make out the blurry picture to say that there is a strawberry birthday cake flavor.

New Birthday Cake Froot Loops will be out soon in the US! By new, I mean the box is new. I highly doubt the flavor is different from the Magic Cupcake Unicorn cereal (that's just Froot Loops without the Froot Loops branding). Also, Canada released Birthday Cake Froot Loops in summer 2017 for their 150th anniversary of confederation. I tried those. They were not pleasant. Anyway, new or not, they will be on shelves in a bright yellow box soon.

Canada debuted its own Froot Loops Birthday Cake flavor in 2017 to celebrate the cereal’s 150th birthday. Unlike the United States version, the cereal was all one color, a pinkish reddish. The box featured what appeared to be a strawberry and vanilla cake.
