Low-cost carrier Frontier Airlines is introducing a new economic business class with premium seats, free carry-on bags, and other perks.

The new BizFare, which the airline dubbed “Biz Travel For Less,” will allow travelers who book through a travel agency to access perks like the free bags, no change or cancellation fees, priority boarding (and guaranteed overhead bin space), and same-day confirmed flight changes. As a promotion to celebrate the new BizFare rates, flights start at only $129 one-way until Feb. 7.

It's worth reiterating though, that the new option will only be available to book through the global distribution system (GDS) channel, which is used by businesses to book travel, or at a Frontier airport ticket counter, an airline spokesperson confirmed to Travel + Leisure.

“For nearly 30 years, Frontier has made flying easier and more affordable, and we are excited to deliver even more value to business travelers and travel managers with Biz Travel For Less,” Barry Biffle, the CEO of Frontier Airlines, said in a statement. “Our new BizFare is perfect for companies looking to improve their bottom line and save money on business travel. In addition, we believe our new network design will provide more destination options as well as additional frequencies on our most popular routes.

While the new BizFare rates include many perks, Frontier typically charges extra for things like seat assignments, carry-on baggage, and checked baggage.

“Travelers will enjoy the extra legroom and comfort of our Premium seating, as well as the newly enhanced FRONTIER Miles frequent flyer program that makes it easy and fast to attain Elite Status,” Biffle added.

The airline, however, made it easier for travelers to obtain elite status this year by partnering with dozens of other airlines, hotels, and cruise lines for status matching, as well as allowing eligible travel rewards credit card holders to purchase Elite 20K status for $499.
