And it's a fast-fave, too.

When you stop to think about how many of your favorite snack brands Frito-Lay owns, it really is amazing that they don’t all cannibalize each other at the grocery store. But it’s probably because Frito-Lay’s chips, popcorn, and pretzels are all so unique.

There’s nothing quite like a Flamin’ Hot Cheeto or Cool Ranch Dorito—and, of course, some days a classic Lay’s potato chip just hits the spot. Then you get to brands like Funyuns, Miss Vickie’s, and PopCorners and realize Frito-Lay truly has it all.

With the snack brand launching new products almost weekly, we’re constantly left wondering, “What’s next—and how can you beat the last one?” But Frito-Lay is always up to the challenge.

On the heels of two exclusive Doritos flavors and some souped-up pretzels, Frito-Lay is now launching a new flavor in the PopCorners line.

Currently, PopCorners—the airy snack that’s a mix between popcorn and crunchy chips—has seven flavors in its lineup, from classic Kettle Corn and White Cheddar, to Spicy Queso and Sweet Chili. However, when it comes to the popped-corn snack, there’s always room for more.

For a limited time, PopCorners is releasing a new Jalapeño Popper flavor. The savory-spicy flavor brings a punch of heat from fresh peppers combined with the cheesy goodness of a stuffed jalapeño.

Fans will have their first chance to try the new Jalapeño Popper PopCorners at the 150th Kentucky Derby on May 4. Those in attendance at Churchill Downs can head to the PopCorners Snackbook booth for a chance to win prizes—including the new PopCorners.

If you’re having your Derby Day party from the comfort of your own home, no need to worry. The flavor is hitting retailer shelves now—and will continue to pop up throughout May. So, check your grocery store for the 6.5- and 3-ounce bags ASAP.

We were among the first to try PopCorners’ newest limited-edition flavor before it heads to shelves—and Churchill Downs. The new Jalapeño Popper PopCorners might just be our favorite PopCorners flavor to date.

When you open the bag, the smell of fresh jalapeños hits you in the face, but contrary to the spicy smell, they’re actually rather mild. The jalapeño kick is toned down by the cheesiness—similar to a real jalapeño popper with its gooey cream cheese center.

We devoured the bag quickly, so PopCorners, if you’d like to make Jalapeño Popper a permanent flavor, we’d be the first to sign that petition.
