Friends of WPL to welcome Dave Lieber at spring luncheon
Apr. 16—The Friends of the Weatherford Public Library will welcome noted motivational speaker Dave Lieber at the 2024 annual spring luncheon Friday May 3, at the Doss Heritage and Culture Center from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Lieber has held the same job at the Star-Telegram for 20 years. He has also written nine books and two plays. His play about Amon Carter is on a statewide tour and has been performed more than 50 times in seven Texas cities. His second play on Ross Perot Sr. was performed in nine shows. Both plays have companion books. Lieber's newest book is Dandy Don Meredith — The First Dallas Cowboy.
