While there are plenty of great Christmas movies out there to get you into the holiday spirit, few things feel better than a decked out version of your favorite television show. It's like celebrating the holiday with close friends (no pun intended). And if you are an avid Friends watcher, you know this gang gets up to some antics during the holidays.

Friends Christmas episodes probably include some of the most memorable moments of the show's 10-year run. I mean, who could possibly forget Holiday Armadillo? Throughout the show's seasons, there are 10 Christmas (or Christmas-adjacent) episodes to enjoy.

Season 1, Episode 10 "The One With The Monkey"

The first season of Friends doesn't technically include a full-on Christmas episode, but "The One With The Monkey" is as close as you can get. The gang throws a New Year's Eve party, and they all agree to attend without a date. However, all of them cave except Ross (David Schwimmer)—who brings a monkey instead. (Yes, this is also fans' first introduction to the lovable and chaotic monkey named Marcel.)

Season 2, Episode 9 "The One With Phoebe's Dad"

As mentioned, Friends did not have a Christmas episode in season one, so the first explicitly Christmas episode comes in season two. Phoebe (Lisa Kudrow) travels to upstate New York to track down her biological father, while Chandler (Matthew Perry) and Joey (Matt LeBlanc) go Christmas shopping at a gas station.

As you can probably assume from the title, Rachel (Jennifer Aniston) quits her job at Central Perk in this episode. Meanwhile, Ross accidentally breaks a little girl's leg and tries to make up for it by helping her sell boxes of cookies—which awakens a childhood fixation in Monica (Courteney Cox).

Ross must choose between a long distance relationship with a woman from upstate New York, or someone else. Chandler sets Rachel up with a colleague, and it does not go well. And then, Monica temporarily hires Joey with the sole purpose of firing him in front of her restaurant staff (y'know to demonstrate some authority, naturally)—which also backfires.

Phoebe runs into trouble trying to collect Christmas funds for the less fortunate. Meanwhile, Rachel is extremely uncomfortable with her boyfriend Danny's (George Newbern) relationship with his sister.

Ross attempts to introduce his son, Ben (Dylan and Cole Sprouse) to Hanukkah, and somehow ends up renting an armadillo suit. And, unsurprisingly, things don't go quite as planned.
