Fresno County celebrates 21 ‘Fruitful’ seasons

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A ceremony was held to celebrate the 21st season of the Fresno County Fruit Trail on Thursday.

The ceremony was celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the Vineyard Farmers Market located at 100 W. Shaw Ave. in Fresno.

The Fresno County Fruit Trail is similar to a wine trail and features a drive through the countryside with stops that permit visitors to purchase what officials describe as the very best local produce, fresh from the farm. The fruit came from farm stands and stores already featuring the best fresh-picked strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cherries, apricots, and more.

Fresno County Fruit Trail visitors can find updated trail information by visiting the Fruit Trail website or following the Fruit Trail on X (formerly known as Twitter) at @gofruittrail, which officials say will allow visitors and local fruit lovers easy access to the latest news on trail offerings and available fresh produce.

Fruit Trail maps can be found online at member stands/stores, chambers of commerce, and visitor centers throughout eastern Fresno County.
