Château d’Estoublon proud brings its Provençal Roseblood d’Estoublon brand nationwide as they have inked a long-term exclusive partnership agreement with fine wine importer VINTUS. Building on the incredible overseas growth of Roseblood over the last few years, the winery now sets its sights on the U.S. market with an emphasis on their flagship rosé, Roseblood d’Estoublon Rosé. The brand has celebrity partners, both executives in private and public life, who are promoting the French lifestyle in their post-Dignitary lives.

In 2020, Jean-Guillaume Prats, formerly CEO of Cos d’Estournel, CEO of Moet-Hennessy’s fine wine portfolio, and CEO of Lafite-Rothschild, purchased the estate with two families, bringing together a dynamic group of hands-on owners with the ambition to develop Estoublon and establish Roseblood as a leading luxury rosé. Prats and partners, including global icon Carla Bruni-Sarkozy—supported by her husband, former President of France Nicolas Sarkozy—and French entrepreneur Stéphane Courbit, now own more than 850 acres of vines outside of the Chateau, spread across three vineyards in the region of Provence.

Renowned winemaker Victor Joyeux brings his expertise and vision to Estoublon as Technical Director with the 2023 vintage, following an impressive eight year tenure as winemaker at Cloudy Bay in Marlborough, New Zealand. Tied to a historic estate of both agricultural and regionally cultural importance, Roseblood is a Coteaux Varois en Provence rosé that also embodies a lifestyle that the brand refers to as “the Art of Living” in Provence. To echo the quality of the wine and the winery’s dynamic plans, the Roseblood wines come in an iconic, whimsical and bold package, with the serpent, rose and floral undertones representing the “Garden of Eden” that is Estoublon.

It's poetic, it's solar—a magical place that vibrates with its own unique energy and strong positive vibrations. Its incredible light casts a halo of beauty on each of its details. Each glass of rosé offers an escape, a sip of this magical Provence, wherever it may be and our Roseblood wine transports you to our Provencal vineyards and estate - with its lush and wild surroundings. Embodying the relaxed Provençal lifestyle, it invites you to enjoy moments of pleasure and conviviality, capturing the essence of the region's quiet, serene way of life.

MK: Was rosé served at state dinners and events during your husband's time as President of France?

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy: France is the country of wine. You can’t talk about France without talking about wine. It is part of our identity, craftsmanship and beauty. Of course, rosé was served during official dinners, as an aperitif or on the table with gastronomic rosés. It was a pity that Roseblood didn’t exist at that time.

MK: What do you think is the ideal situation in which to enjoy a glass of Château d'Estoublon "Roseblood" Rosé?

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy: I like it in all sorts of ways but my favorite way to enjoy a glass has to be under the night stars. It truly is the best moment to drink it. I also like to share it during convivial moments with friends or enjoy it alone, accompanied by a good book, savoring the moment.

MK: What is the perfect dish to pair a glass of Château d'Estoublon "Roséblood" Rosé with?

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy: I like to pair Roseblood with à white fish if I’m looking for something light for lunch or dinner. I also like to enjoy our rosé with grilled vegetables, creamy burrata or spinach ricotta ravioli with fresh basil. I prefer to pair the rosé with light yet refreshing accompaniments. Roseblood is equally enchanting on its own, embodying the essence of Estoublon in each graceful sip.

MK: Why is Provence such the perfect environment to create world-class Rosé?

Carla Bruni-Sarkozy: Provence, especially the Château d'Estoublon, is a magical place that vibrates with its own unique energy and emits strong, positive vibes. Here, the combination of a unique terroir and an idyllic Mediterranean climate is the perfect alchemy for producing exquisite rosés. Roseblood is much more than a glass of wine—it offers an immersive experience that captures the essence of summer, cultural richness, and the art of simple pleasures.

And when you savor a glass, you're not just tasting a wine, but experiencing a liquid narrative of this enchanting place, so rich and so vibrant, that every sip is like a sunset, captured in a glass.
