Freeform Announces May 2020 Movie Marathons: "Twilight," "Hunger Games," and More

I have to wonder if Freeform has been reading my journal lately because I — and I'm guessing you, too — have been in need of a good ol' movie marathon. Luckily, Freeform has swooped in to save the day by programming a whole day of Twilight films to kick off their May lineup.

Freeform announced earlier this week they would be kicking off their jam-packed May movie and TV schedule with a Twilight movie marathon May 2-3. All five movies will be shown on Saturday and then again on Sunday, which means you can marathon the entire Twilight saga two times in just as many days. Twilight diehards, you can remind yourself why you love the love story of Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart) — a shy young woman who falls for a vampire and gets drawn deeper into his world — and Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) — the aforementioned broody vampire who manages to pull off sparkling in the sun extremely well.

Freeform's Twilight marathon kicks off what will be a month of movie marathons. The channel has lined up exciting themed weekends, including one for Mother's Day, which runs from May 9-10; one called Funday: Toy Story Weekend, which runs from May 23-24 and includes the first three Toy Story movies as well as Hercules and Tangled; and a Hunger Games watch day at the end of May which, just like the Twilight marathon, will see all four films in the franchise being shown back-to-back throughout the weekend.
