Freeform Announced Its 25 Days of Christmas Schedule

Is it December yet?

Halloween has only just ended, but we're already dreaming of a season filled with snow. If you're also eager to start spreading some cheer, there's good news — Freeform announced its 25 Days of Christmas schedule.

Things officially get underway on December 1, and as faithful viewers of this time of all things merry and bright know, the network blocks out an entire month for holiday-inspired specials. Along with classic films including Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Home Alone 2, the 25 Days of Christmas also includes a few new Freeform originals.

On December 4 at 9 p.m., Ghosting: The Spirit of Christmas, starring Aisha Dee and Kimiko Glenn makes it official television debut. The movie is sure to be a brand new holiday rom-com fave and centers on the story of Jess (Aisha) "who goes on the greatest first date of her life, but inadvertently “ghosts” Ben when she tragically dies in a car accident on the way home." In order to continue her romantic quest, Jess is forced to team up with her best friend Kara (Kimiko), the only person who can still hear her, to reach Mr. Right.

In addition to new movies, special holiday episodes shows including The Fosters and The Simpsons are scheduled to air throughout the 25 days of holiday bliss.

Freeform isn't the only one getting in the holiday spirit. Netflix previously announced its lineup of specials, which includes plenty more rom-coms and the return of Vanessa Hudgens in a sequel to The Princess Switch.
