Freeform Is Airing Disney Movies Every Day In September, So You'll Want to Clear Your Schedule
While most networks are gearing up to bring back your favorite TV shows for another season, Freeform has something even better up its sleeve. Over the weekend, the Disney-owned network kicked off its "30 Days of Disney" programming, which will bring all of your favorite Disney movies to your television screens for the month of September.
The jam-packed lineup, which features anywhere from two to nine Disney movies each day, brings together Disney films new and old, as well as movies from other Disney-owned franchises such as Marvel's Iron Man. Viewers will also get a special look at Disney's newest theme park addition, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
Each week has its own theme that guides what movies are being played. The first week is Villain's Week and features the likes of Maleficent and The Lion King. The second week's theme is pirates, and will see multiple showings of each Pirates of the Caribbean movie.For all the Disney music lovers out there, the third week is "Sing-Along Week," which means a sing-along version of a musical movie will be played once each day. The final week is "Sheroes Week," which will feature films with female heroes, such as Moana, Lilo and Stitch, and Finding Dory.
