Free kite festival is coming to Morro Bay
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Morro Bay Kite Festival will be on the Central Coast this weekend, a free event that promises a weekend of high-flying festivities by the sea.
The Morro Bay Kite Festival is described as a beloved annual event that brings together kite flyers of all ages. The event runs from April 26 until April 28, starting with bonfires on the beach on Friday night.
Organizers promise 500 kites that will be given away to children for them to build and customize on Saturday. Candy drops will also take place twice on Saturday and Sunday, weather permitting.
