Free entry to 8 NYC museums during Museum Mile Festival

MANHATTAN, N.Y. (PIX11) — Looking to get into the Met for free?

The Museum Mile Festival is offering New Yorkers and visitors free entry to eight museums from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on June 18. Crowned as an “artsy block party,” visitors can walk along Fifth Avenue and visit the city’s best cultural institutions.

Here are 7 free summer concert series in New York City

Participating museums include the Africa Center, El Museo del Barrio, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cooper Hewitt Smithsonian Design Museum, the Jewish Museum, Neue Galerie New York and the Museum of the City of New York.

There may be additional programming from neighborhood partners, including the New York Academy of Medicine, the Church of the Heavenly Rest, Asia Society, and AKC Museum of the Dog.
