Free Doughnuts All Around! Krispy Kreme’s New Rewards Program Is Spreading The Love

New and current rewards members can score a free dozen Original Glazed doughnuts.

Charlotte, North Carolina-based Krispy Kreme is known around the South for a few notable things: its neon Hot Light, pillowy-soft Original Glazed doughnuts, creative seasonal creations, and generous Southern hospitality.

The doughnut chain has been known to give away free doughnuts on special occasions—graduation, holidays, even Super Tuesday—and now, their rewards program revamp will spread fresh doughnuts even farther. Launching April 30, the new Krispy Kreme Rewards program (formerly My Sweet Rewards) is the self-proclaimed “most generous rewards in doughnut history.”

To celebrate the launch, all Krispy Kreme Rewards members—including new members who join the rewards program by May 11—will receive a free dozen of Original Glazed doughnuts plus a dozen consecutive days of oh-so-sweet deals beginning April 30.

The new rewards system makes earning points for free menu items, like doughnuts and coffee, faster and easier. In addition to the free dozen, members can expect a birthday treat, double points to celebrate their anniversary month, and exclusive freebies in the Krispy Kreme app or online.

Previously, guests earned credit for purchases of single doughnuts, dozen doughnuts, and coffee; twelve credits could be redeemed for one of each specific item for free. With the new system, guests earn ten points for every dollar spent (details and exclusions here). Here are the new tiers for free treats:

• 150-250 points: Free Original Glazed doughnut, classic doughnut of choice, hot or iced brewed coffee, or hot chocolate

• 400-600 points: Free three-count of Original Glazed doughnuts or classic assorted doughnuts, or hot or iced specialty latte

• 800-1200 points: Six free Original Glazed doughnuts or classic assorted doughnuts

• 1400-1700 points: A free Original Glazed dozen or classic assorted dozen

“We take a lot of pride in being generous to all our guests, and that’s not changing,” said Dave Skena, Global Chief Brand Officer for Krispy Kreme. “By becoming a Krispy Kreme Rewards member, you’ll experience even more sweetness.”

To sign up for Krispy Kreme Rewards, download the Krispy Kreme app or create an online account here. If you’re already a member, your existing rewards will transfer to the new system. You’ll also receive bonus points for every visit made to Krispy Kreme in the last year to give your account a bonus boost.
