How to Get a Free Doughnut From Krispy Kreme Today

For St. Patrick's Day, not only has Krispy Kreme unveiled a few new themed selections, the sweets shop is also giving away free doughnuts to visitors who either dine in or stop through the drive-thru on March 17.
The way to take advantage of the offer is simple, and likely something you may be doing in honor of the holiday anyway (well, if you don't want to take your chances with getting pinched, that is). Guests wearing green can enjoy a free O’riginal Glazed Doughnut to celebrate the occasion.

The chain debuted its limited-time Good as Gold St. Patrick's Day collection on March 9, which can be found at participating shops across the U.S. The roundup includes four delicious new additions so you can get a taste of the luck of the Irish for yourself:
Golden Cookies & Kreme™ Doughnut – A golden cookie Kreme™ filled doughnut shell dipped in white icing and covered in golden cookie pieces and a gold sprinkle blend.
Hat O’ Gold Doughnut – A chocolate iced doughnut decorated with a plaid green icing pattern and topped with a leprechaun hat sugar piece.
Golden Sprinkle Doughnut – An Original Glazed® doughnut dipped in green icing and topped with a gold St. Patrick’s Day sprinkle blend.
Rainbow Kreme™ Filled Doughnut – An unglazed shell filled with White Kreme™ topped with green icing and decorated with a rainbow sugar piece, vanilla buttercream, and gold coin sprinkles.
In addition, glazed goes green with the eatery's especially-colored dozen boxes, available at various Krispy Kreme locations and online through the Krispy Kreme app and website, along with the Good as Gold foursome.

Fans of the fried dough can use the Krispy Kreme store locator to see which location near them is offering the new doughnut lineup.
Select grocery stores will also carry a special six‑pack of St. Patrick’s Day-inspired doughnuts, which include the chocolate iced doughnut decorated with St. Patrick’s sprinkles.
We're not sure if it'll be as lucky as a four-leaf clover, but we'll settle for a free doughnut instead—even if it doesn't lead to a pot o' gold.
