Freddie Mercury vs. Dick Cheney vs. Queen Anne: Which Oscar Nominee Looked Most Like the Person They Were Trying to Channel?

While we're unsure about who will take away the big prizes at Sunday's Academy Awards (did those 100 people in the room vote for Gaga?), there are a few performances that had us impressed by the prosthetics alone. So we're pitting the stars against their real-life inspirations in a game of who wore it best, Oscars edition. This time it's Freddie versus Dick versus Queen Anne.

Rami Malek as Freddie Mercury in Bohemian Rhapsody

The pros:

  • Spot-on fake nose

  • Abundant underarm hair

  • Creepy prosthetic teeth

The cons:

  • Did we mention those teeth

Christian Bale as Dick Cheney in Vice

The pros:

  • Shaved his head

  • Bleached his eyebrows

  • Gained 40 pounds

  • Nailed the "bulky neck" look

  • Shares a birthday

The cons:

  • Almost too real, if you catch our drift

Olivia Colman as Anne, Queen of Great Britain in The Favourite

The pros:

  • Gout

The cons:

  • Historically inaccurate (albeit stylish) black-and-white capsule wardrobe

  • Looked like a badger

We'll let you choose a winner (we can't decide), but we think those teeth speak for themselves...
