Students return to Franklin City Schools campus after police clear buildings

Authorities have cleared all areas of the Franklin High School and Franklin Junior High campus, school district officials said in a Facebook post.

Officials said students and staff are returning to their buildings.

Franklin City Schools was forced to evacuate students and staff from the Franklin Junior High and Franklin High School campus in Warren County after a threat was received Tuesday morning.

All students and school personnel at the Fourth Street location were evacuated to Gerke Elementary as police and other emergency personnel assessed the situation, officials said.
