Frank Ocean celebrated the American film industry in a surprise Met Gala appearance.

The "Pink + White" singer, who wore a black Prada sports jacket and trousers, stood out with his creative accessories, which included an animatronic baby puppet painted neon green, matching his buzz cut. Ocean posed for photos while wearing the baby on his hip, as the puppet waved its arms for the crowd.

The "Thinkin Bout You" singer also sported a necklace from his newly-launched independent luxury company, Homer, a black cap printed with "Dreamcore," and an image of a man fishing from the moon, a la the Dreamworks Studios logo. His robot baby was decked out in a onesie printed with a pattern from Homer's selection of silk scarves.

Though there's been no word on new music from the reclusive singer, Ocean's been busy launching Homer, which "represents carving history into stone," per its website. The brand's first collection included silk scarves and "fine and high jewelry," featuring 18K gold, recycled sterling silver, hand-painted enamel, and American lab-grown diamonds.

Homer also released its previously-teased collaboration with Prada last week, with Ocean's brand reimagining the luxury house's Anorak, Backpack, and Belt Bag, adding an internal co-branded tag. The Prada ambassador hinted on Instagram that the collection could be the first of many, writing, "PRADA 1 OF ??."

In an August Financial Times interview, Ocean opened up about the journey that led him to found Homer. He also spoke on the future possibilities for Black people in the fashion industry.

"There are possibilities for black people now that weren’t always there for us,” he says. "I grew up in poverty. I’m grateful to my mother because she tried to expose me to as much as she could so far as the bigger picture is concerned. I’m very fortunate to be someone who can make someone else feel like they have possibilities, and I think that will make art and fashion richer for it."
