Japanese multidisciplinary artist and designer Hiroshi Fujiwara, founder of Fragment Design, is often cited as the “godfather of streetwear.” Since founding the fashion label in 2003, Fujiwara and his fashion label have gotten the chance to work on projects with some of the world’s biggest footwear brands.

Fujiwara’s relationship with Nike was born in the early aughts via the HTM project, which saw him team up with legendary sneaker designer Tinker Hatfield under former CEO Mark Parker. Beyond Fragment’s long-standing partnership with the Swoosh brand, Fragment’s roster of collaborators over the last two decades spans Converse, Supreme, Moncler and more.
