Fox News's Jeanine Pirro Claims Democrats Will "Replace American Citizens with Illegals"

White nationalist talking points have become a common feature on Fox News's most prominent shows. Laura Ingraham repeatedly refers to illegal immigration as an "invasion." Tucker Carlson insists that white supremacy is a hoax, even after a string of white supremacist mass shootings. And Jeanine Pirro is enthusiastically promoting the "great replacement" conspiracy theory.

Appearing on Thursday's episode of The Todd Starnes Show, a Fox Nation radio show, Pirro said of liberals and Democrats, "Their plot to remake America is to bring in the illegals, change the way the voting occurs in this country, give them licenses. They get to vote—maybe once, maybe twice, maybe three times." She continued, "Think about it! It is a plot to remake America—to replace American citizens with illegals who will vote for the Democrats."

This isn't the first time that Pirro has made these claims about Democrats this week. Appearing on the August 27 episode of Varney & Company, Pirro said, "They've gotten to the point where their remaking America is opening the border, which is allowing 90 percent of the heroin to come into this country. The sanctuary cities are allowing illegals—and I’m not talking about the chambermaid, I'm not talking about the guy who’s mowing your lawn—illegals who are criminals to be in a city where American citizens are at risk."

This is exactly in line with the white nationalist belief that shadowy elites—usually Jewish people—are deliberately trying to strip white people of political power somehow by funneling non-white migrants into the U.S. The ultimate goal, according to conspiracy theorists, is to replace white people with new immigrants. It was cited by multiple white nationalist shooters in the last year, including the man who killed 12 people at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, and the El Paso shooter who killed more than 20 people in a Texas shopping center.

"It's actually not a real problem in America," says the Fox News host in the wake of the El Paso shooting.
