When it comes to award shows—and, let's face it, winning awards—Reese Witherspoon knows a thing or two about making sure she looks her best for the occasion. After all, she's practically received a nomination for something every year since 1999, and is more often than not a guarantee for major red-carpet moments. With that being said, she obviously didn't miss the mark for this year's Golden Globes.

Though Reese Witherspoon herself wasn't nominated for an award at the 81st annual Globes, her hit TV show, The Morning Show, was nominated for Best Television Series Drama. To celebrate the undeniable honor, she had to get pampered to perfection in her Monique Lhuillier gown.

The work of celebrity makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan, Witherspoon's eyes, lips, and face were all painted to perfection with Westman Atelier products. For a radiant base, Deenihan started by applying the Vital Skincare Complexion Drops ($68) to act as a serum-skin tint combo that "evens the skin's tone while also hydrating and smoothing," said Deenihan.

With the prep done, the makeup artist went in with the ultra-viral Vital Skin Foundation Stick ($68), touching up any areas that needed a bit more coverage using her fingertips. After letting it melt into the skin for a second, she sculpted with the Vital Skin Foundation Stick ($68) before adding some dusty rose color with Baby Cheeks Blush Stick ($48) in Petal. Of course, she couldn't forget to highlight the skin, which she did using the Super Loaded Tinted Highlight in Peau De Rosé ($75), dusting the shine on cheekbones and nose for a "lit from within glow."

With the actor's skin glowing, hydrated, and rosy, she got to work on Witherspoon's eyes. Because Deenihan says Reese naturally has an "amazing" brow shape, she used the Bonne Brow Defining Pencil ($38) in Clay to fill in "the tiniest of sparse areas" for a fuller look.

After that, Deenihan used the shade Tabac from Les Jours Eye Pods ($88) to add a bronzy base and create some contour on the actor's eyes before adding the rich brown hue Chocolat, and the Eye Love You Eye Pencil ($34) in Kôhl Brun, a terracotta brown. The final step on the eyes was a coat of Eye Want You Mascara ($45) in Pitch Black before moving to the lips.

For such an important night, Deenihan created a custom lip color fit for the icon. The makeup artist mixed Peony and Café Créme from the Westman Atelier Lip Suede palette Les Nudes ($85), creating the perfect pinky nude hue for Witherspoon's skin tone. She coated the color in a layer of Squeaky Clean Liquid Lip Balm ($38) in Nana for extra hydration and shine.

Reese may not have walked away a winner, but if her makeup had been nominated for an award, it surely would've swept the competition.
