Got an iPad? It's Time to Accessorize, BbCourtesy Cristina Coppin

Confession: I use my iPad a lot. Like, a lot a lot. I use it for watching TV in bed, checking emails from the couch, reading on the go...and tbh, I think it's only a matter of time before my iPad turns into a replacement for my MacBook. Ofc, an iPad is nothing without the best iPad accessories—though, with so many out there, it's hard to know which ones are actually worth your coin. From protective tools (like cases and sleeves) to handy holders (like stands and lap desks) to wireless devices (like mouses and keyboards), I'm here to help you trick out your iPad with aaaaall the best accessories.

First things first: You'll wanna make sure any add-ons you buy for your tablet are actually compatible...because, if you haven't noticed, there are a LOT of different iPad models out there. (There are four different lines of the iPad, and they're all on different timelines, but FTR, the most up-to-date models are the iPad Pro 6th Gen, iPad 10th Gen, iPad Air 5th Gen, and iPad mini 6th Gen.) Make sure you look up your model number and figure out your screen size, especially if you're getting a case or screen protector that requires an *exact* fit. Now, on to the good stuff.

Ahead, all the best iPad accessories you can shop right now (and be sure to check out our fave laptop bags for something cute to carry your iPad in!).

Slim Protective Case

The problem with the Apple Smart Folio: It leaves the top, bottom, and right edges of your tablet exposed. If you're looking for 360-degree protection at the same price, then you're way better off with a Zugu case. Available for legit every iPad model and in tons of colorways, this bb boasts a faux-leather exterior and a rubber bumper around the outside edges, as well as a series of recessed ridges on the front cover that let you prop up your tablet at various angles. It is, quite simply, ze best.

THE REVIEW: As one tester notes, "The entire product is strong and protective from every angle—front to back, side to side—without being super heavy. This is the first iPad case that exceeded my expectations. The side Apple pencil holder also securely holds the Apple pencil and allows it to charge. This case will last longer than the life of the iPad, I am sure."

MagFlött Magnetic Stand V2.0

A new-and-improved version of the internet-famous OG MagFlött, this stunner may just be the best magnetic stand your money can buy. Thanks to the super-strong magnetic surface that holds your tablet in place, this stand allows you to rotate your screen 360 degrees without any wobbles, and it even includes a curved cable for discreet charging. And if you want height adjustability, then y0u can always upgrade to the MagFlött Pro.

THE REVIEW: "There is a lot of care put into this product, and it's evident the moment it arrives, as the packaging and presentation is first rate," one review reads. "The stand itself is made from very sturdy materials, and the overall design fits in with the Apple aesthetic more than any other 3rd party product I've used. The magnetic attachment is incredibly strong, and their 360-degree rotation couldn't be smoother. The inclusion of a braided, 90-degree angle USB-C cable is a huge plus as well."

K380 Wireless Keyboard

Found: the snazziest lil portable keyboard for your iPad. Lightweight and compact, this option is ideal for travel, especially since it has a long battery life and the ability to connect to and switch between three devices. Reviewers also rave about the well-spaced keys and the v pretty colorways.

THE REVIEW: According to one review, "The keyboard is compact, [and] the keys feel good to the touch and are responsive with a light touch. I can link the keyboard to both my iPhone and iPad easily (the keyboard has 3 available Bluetooth connections) and begin typing quickly. I have always hated using the pop-up keyboard on my iPad and iPhone, so having a separate compact keyboard is perfect."

Pencil (2nd Generation)

If pressure sensitivity is a must-have feature for you, then this latest version of the Apple Pencil is a worthy investment. Other cool features include a magnetic attachment for wireless pairing and charging, as well as a double-tap function—though pls note that the 2nd-generation Pencil won't work with older iPads, so you'll wanna confirm that this is compatible with your model. And FYI: Apple just released an entry-level USB-C Pencil if you don't need all the bells and whistles of this one.

THE REVIEW: 'The precision and responsiveness of the Apple Pencil have been nothing short of excellent," one review reads. "It glides effortlessly across the screen, making note-taking, sketching, and annotating documents an absolute breeze. If you're looking for a precision stylus that's seamlessly integrated with your iPad, this is the one to get."

Screen Protector

Made to accommodate every iPad model imaginable, this highly-rated screen protector is so much more effective than you think it would be for the price. It's made with thick tempered glass that's scratch-resistant but still highly transparent—and yes, it's compatible with the Apple Pencil. Here's the best part: Applying it is WAY easier than similar options.

THE REVIEW: As one review reads, "I realized how good this screen protector was when I had my iPad Pro in the front basket of my mobility scooter as I sped home in the rain. I hit a bump, it flipped out of the basket, the protective cover flew open, the iPad landed screen side down on a dirty concrete sidewalk, and the heavy scooter ran over it before I could stop. Between the weight of the scooter plus me, almost 400 pounds ran over that iPad, and yet the only thing that cracked was the screen protector. Now THAT'S a testimony!!!"

It comes in a bunch of color options, is available for multiple different iPad models, and even features a built-in camera shield, which is v smart.

THE REVIEW: "These are truly the best on the market," writes one reviewer. "They're the most stable and best at protecting. I’ve tried the 'lookalikes' that are cheaper and let me tell you, one fall and they chip immediately! You’ll end up spending more money trying to replace what this one can do!"

Combo Touch Keyboard Case

Listen, the Apple Magic Keyboard case is great and all, but if you're looking to drop a lil less $$$, then this case from Logitech is the way to go. Featuring a trackpad that supports multi-finger gestures, an iPadOS shortcut row, and a case that can detach from the keyboard, this option is seriously well-designed, and it's available in multiple sizes to accommodate every iPad model.

THE REVIEW: "This keyboard case is outstanding!" one tester raves. "The backlit keys are a pleasure to type on, the case is very sturdy, and the keyboard is very easy to attach/detach, giving me maximum flexibility in how I use my iPad Air without losing protection for the iPad. The touch pad is large and very responsive to Apple gestures, and the row of function keys is a time-saving bonus."

Mark Aluminum Stylus

Complete with a thick mesh nib and anodized finish, this aluminum stylus feels just as good as it looks—and it's also one of the most affordable universal styluses out there. No, it doesn't have pressure sensitivity or a fine point tip, but it's seriously high quality for the price (especially if you have an older iPad that doesn’t support a smart stylus).

THE REVIEW: "This is a great pen and you can’t beat the price," notes one buyer. "It isn’t 'active,' meaning there is no pressure sensitivity, but it still works great for what it is. I use it for editing photos on a 5th Gen iPad, which doesn’t work with the Apple Pencil."

Pro Stylus

Don't wanna splurge on the Apple Pencil? This is the stylus for you, bb. Compatible with any iPad released from 2017 through iPadOS, this slightly less expensive option has all the smart features of the Apple Pencil (like palm rejection and tilt awareness), as well as embedded magnets and a hidden USB-C port for charging. Oh, and you can use either end of it, depending on your preference.

THE REVIEW: According to one reviewer, "I use this stylus for operating guitar amp sims and soft synths on iPad, which are loaded with small buttons and dials. The soft-touch end of the stylus is great for general navigation, but also turns out to be better for my sims. The rubber tip provides just a touch of resistance, which makes it easy to slide in fine increments for various dials and sliders. I’m super happy."

Tablet Pillow Holder

Calling all folks who like watching their iPads in bed: This is for you. Made with lightweight memory foam wrapped in a plush cover, this clever wedge pillow comes with three wide, deep grooves for holding your tablet at various angles, as well as a storage bag in the back and even a lil slot for your stylus. They really thought of everything with this one.

THE REVIEW: As one review reads, "If you use an iPad or similar tablet frequently, you know how annoying those cases are with the anti-slip groves made to hold your iPad in place but constantly slips anyway. This stand is perfect, and its anti-slip groves are just that. The groves are deep enough to hold the device in place. You'll love that it supports both vertical and horizontal viewing and can be adjusted to just about any angle you need.

THE REVIEW: As one reviewer writes, "I got fed up of propping my iPad up against a book at a certain height for Zoom, FaceTime, and other similar video calls, so I surfed until I found this tablet stand. HoverBar Duo (2nd Gen)

This HoverBar set includes two pieces: a weighted desktop stand and a shelf clamp for mounting—and thanks to the quick-release clip in this updated version, you can easily switch between the two. With the weighted stand, you can transform your iPad into a fully adjustable desktop workstation, while the shelf clamp gives you the freedom to suspend your device and adjust as needed. For $80, that's a pretty good deal, no?

M1 Wireless Bluetooth Mouse

Coming in at $30, this sleek aluminum mouse is just about the same size as the Magic Mouse (but IMO, it's much more user-friendly). It can go up to 45 days between charges, easily connects to wireless devices within a range of 32 feet, and the metallic color options are so, so pretty—not to mention it feels great to use.

THE REVIEW: As one reviewer notes, "I LOVE this mouse! Not only is it rose gold (my favorite), but once I powered up the batteries, all I did was turn it on, my iPad saw it, and they paired! And it worked!!!!! It’s a great size for my little hands, is smooth, and I adore the ratchet action of the wheel. The wheel is a little rough on the edges, but that’s fine—I am so thoroughly happy with the rest of it, it is FAR from a deal-breaker! You won’t go wrong if you have an iPad!!!"

Pebble

A perfect companion to the Logitech K380 Keyboard, this lil pebble-shaped mouse is such a steal for the price. In addition to looking cute as heck, this bb boasts ultra-quiet clicks and scrolling, high-precision tracking, an 18-month battery life, and an ambidextrous design. And though the Bluetooth connectivity works great, you can also opt to use the included USB receiver.

THE REVIEW: "Love this mouse," reads one review. "Its design is sleek, and it’s durable. It’s not noisy like your normal mouse is. This one is totally quiet!! The cursor response is lightning-fast and it offers smooth and precise tracking. The mouse fits nicely in the palm of my hand, making handling very easy. With a wide array of colors, it is aesthetically appealing. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase."

MX Master 3S for Mac

Anyone who uses a mouse all day will wanna keep their hand from cramping, and the MX Master 3S is up for the job. Complete with a second scroll wheel for your thumb (plus five other programmable buttons), this ergonomic cutie connect to up to three devices via Bluetooth—plus, the battery lasts for two months (!!) on a single charge.

THE REVIEW: According to one reviewer, "You will not regret buying this. You can customize the buttons, and it makes things a lot more comfortable and better for multiple workflows. It's slightly more expensive than Apple's Magic Mouse but it provides way more in terms of battery life, comfort, and ease of use. And in addition, my hands don't get sweaty after using it like I would with the Magic Mouse as well. Overall, definitely worth the $100 I spent on it."

2.0 Screen Protector

Want a screen protector that makes your tablet screen feel like a piece of paper? This is the one you've been looking for!! In addition to bringing the resistance of paper to your iPad display (which helps to improve precision and detail), this protecter reduces glare and reflections so that you only see the things you need to.

THE REVIEW: "I use my iPad primarily for drawing, and these make all the difference you want them to: You won't feel like you're drawing on slippery glass," notes one buyer. "I find it reasonably comparable to drawing on a drawing monitor. It's not really like drawing on paper, but it adds just the right kind and amount of 'surface' to the smooth glass screen to push it really nicely in that direction. I definitely recommend it."
