Fortnite Big Bang Live

Fortnite’s next live event - The Big Bang - will take place on December 2, 2023. Here’s how you can watch it and what to expect.

The Big Bang event will mark the end of Fortnite OG, the latest season of the game that has seen a renewed interest in the battle royale shooter. When that comes to an end, we can expect to be able to jump into the brand new Chapter 5 map.

How to watch Fortnite Big Bang Live.

The event takes place at the following times in your region.

Saturday December 2

  • US 11am PT

  • US 2pm ET

  • UK 7pm GMT

The event will be open 30 minutes before it begins, letting you jump in with friends as it supports parties of up to four players.

Fortnite Big Bang downtime V28.00

Epic Games will disable Fortnite experiences starting at 12pm ET, 9am PT and 5pm GMT to prepare for the Big Bang event. Creator-made experiences will go down from 11:30am ET for the rollout of Fortnite V28.00.

Epic has confirmed some of what the Big Bang event includes, and that's a concert from rap superstar Eminem.

Right now you can jump in to the game and buy three Eminem skins; Rap Boy, Slim Shady and Marshall Never More.

It’s also expected that that Big Bang will start Fortnite’s collaboration with Lego in a new dedicated mode, as well as a music focused rhythm mode with tunes from Linkin Park and Lady Gaga.

We also now know that when Season 5 begins, the Battle Pass will include skins for Metal Gear's Solid Snake and Family Guy's Peter Griffin.
