Fortnite Gets Playable Alan Wake Recap Episode

You can now play Alan Wake in Fortnite. Of course you can.

Epic Games has released Alan Wake: Flashback, a reimagining and recap of the first Alan Wake game, released 13 years ago by developer Remedy Entertainment.

Alan Wake Flashback will serve as a recap and introduction to Remedy’s highly-regarded horror series, ahead of the release of Alan Wake 2 on October 27.

“Based on the award-winning cinematic action-thriller, Alan Wake: Flashback reimagines Remedy Entertainment’s iconic story in Fortnite,” said Epic Games.

“Troubled author Alan Wake embarks on a desperate search for his missing wife, Alice. Following her mysterious disappearance from the Pacific Northwest town of Bright Falls, he discovers pages of a horror story he has supposedly written, but has no memory of.”

Alan Wake himself will become a playable character on Ocotber 26 in Fortnite, as part of the game’s Halloween events.
