Fortnite Celebrates 'Star Wars' With Anakin, Padmé, Clone Trooper and Darth Maul Skins

In celebration of the annual Star Wars holiday of May the Fourth, Fortnite has reconnected with the franchise to introduce exciting new cosmetics, gameplay features, an extensive quest line and more. Previously, much of the Star Wars content in the game revolved around the Original and Sequel Trilogies. Now, the duo has turned back to a simpler time with various Prequel references.

New outfits and complementary cosmetics see Anakin Skywalker, Padmé Amidala, Darth Maul and six Phase II Clone Trooper variants arriving for the first time. Anakin and Padmé are both available for purchase in the Item Shop alongside two Clone variants -- the 501st and 212th. As for Darth Maul and the remaining four Clones, a new "Find the Force" quest line with free and premium rewards has been introduced. Additional Clone styles include a plain Trooper, Wolf Pack Trooper, Ahsoka's Clone Trooper and Coruscant Guard. Gameplay additions include Force Training with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker or Darth Maul for any aspiring Sith Lords, in-game Lightsabers and Force abilities.

Dive into the Fortnite "Find the Force" event from today until May 23 at 9am EDT. The "Find the Force" quests with free and premium tracks are available now alongside the new cosmetics. The Anakin Skywalker Bundle and Padmé Amidala Bundle are priced at 2,100 V-Bucks each while the 501st & 212th Battalion Trooper Pack can be purchased for 800 V-Bucks and the "Find the Force" quest pass can be upgraded for 1,000 V-Bucks.

For more of the latest gaming news, rumors are circulating around Sony's next console -- said to be a "Q-Lite" portable device.
