Formerly Feral Cat Learns How to Meow by Watching Other Kitties at Cat Cafe

It’s a classic case of watch and learn. A former street cat came into a cat cafe seemingly unable to meow—but it wouldn't be long before she was meowing herself.

Evidently, a cat will do anything for a reward. The seemingly silent cat goes into full-on beggar mode for a treat!

In the wild, feral cats probably don’t need to meow much because they are responsible for taking care of their own feedings. But at a cat cafe, they are dependent on humans for their food.

This particular cat has such a sweet face and demeanor. After meowing a few times, the staff members recognize it and praise her with a “Good job!”

Cat cafes are becoming popular all across the country, and most of them are responsible for adopting out cats who don’t have a home. It’s a wonderful mission—and they make a great destination for any animal lover.

While feral cats are typically on the shy side, this little cat definitely seems to be very social. She probably won’t have to wait very long to find a home of her own! This particular cat cafe is supported by A Rejoyceful Animal Rescue and Meow and Furever Cat Rescue, two cat rescues located in Michigan.

While these cats are all looking for a forever home, hopefully all of that meowing she’s doing will help her find a forever home, too. Her adorable meows show that she’s friendly and very willing to accept affection.

While she’s waiting, it looks like she will have plenty of other kitties to play with at the cat cafe. There are dozens of cats there also waiting for their forever home—and if she’s lucky, she’ll go home with another fellow cat from the cafe.
