One alum from 'Sex and the City' is open to returning to the HBO Max sequel series.

And Just Like That... we're hoping for Sarah Michelle Gellar to reprise her Sex and the City role.

It's been over 20 years since the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star guest starred as Hollywood executive Debbie on the HBO hit, but it seems Gellar is up for bringing the character back for the show's sequel series.

"I feel like the [development] girl, which is what she was then, is probably running a studio and maybe she has a place to come back," she loosely pitched to Entertainment Tonight. "Michael Patrick King, are you listening?"

It wouldn't be wildly surprising to see Gellar reunited with Sarah Jessica Parker's Carrie Bradshaw, as several fan favorites have returned to appear in And Just Like That..., which is currently filming its second season.

In fact, the series made headlines in January when HBO Max confirmed the return of John Corbett, who played Carrie's former fiancé Aidan Shaw.

Corbett, whose return had been previously reported in Aug. 2022, was seen holding hands with Parker in official season two photos. The show's Instagram captioned the images, "Shh. Don’t tell anyone."

Parker and Corbett later shared a smooch for additional promotional images. "And just like that Carrie is back on her tip toes," the And Just Like That... account further teased.

Season two will also star SATC originals Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, Evan Handler and Mario Cantone. Fans will also see more of Sara Ramirez, Nicole Ari Parker and Sarita Choudhury, whose respective characters were introduced in And Just Like That…’s first season.

Fan favorite Kim Cattrall still has no plans of reviving her Samantha Jones character for the new series.

"It's a great wisdom to know when enough is enough," she told Variety in May 2022. "I also didn't want to compromise what the show was to me. The way forward seemed clear."
