  • Kylie Jenner was named Forbes’ number one earning celebrity on their Celebrity 100 List.

  • This feat comes after Forbes removed Kylie’s “youngest self-made billionaire” title.

Welp, it looks like the drama surrounding Kylie Jenner’s feud with Forbes has taken a turn for the…interesting? As you may recall, Forbes wrote this massive exposé on how Kylie allegedly inflated her personal wealth, forged her tax returns, projected her Kylie Cosmetics brand to make more in sales than it truly does, and a bunch of other shady stuff.

After reading the feature, Kylie went on a massive Twitter rant and wrote:

“what am i even waking up to. i thought this was a reputable site…all i see are a number of inaccurate statements and unproven assumptions lol. i’ve never asked for any title or tried to lie my way there EVER. period.

“‘even creating tax returns that were likely forged’ that’s your proof? so you just THOUGHT they were forged? like actually what am i reading.

“but okay. i am blessed beyond my years, i have a beautiful daughter and a successful business and i’m doing perfectly fine.”

That—plus the fact that Kylie’s beyond pissed at Kris Jenner rn over this—pretty much brings us up to date. But despite all the drama, Forbes literally just named Kylie as the top-earning celebrity on its 2020 Celeb 100 List, which calculates celebrities’ annual pay. According to the list, Kylie earned $590 million largely because of her decision to sell 51 percent of her Kylie Cosmetics brand to Coty for $600 million. The sale allowed her to earn $540 million before taxes.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I gotta go flip my couch cushions in the hopes of finding some spare change.
