Football world champion teaches little girl cool soccer trick in sweet video

Melody Donchet is one of the most decorated freestyle football players in the world. She’s a five-time world champion, the reigning women’s Red Bull Street Style World Champion and the only person of any gender to win the title three times. Donchet found herself on a hot streak until a few years ago when she suffered a knee injury that forced her to slow down to recover.

During this time she traveled the world as a freestyle football performer. The touring brought her to Abidjan in the Ivory Coast where she encountered a group of children playing. She decided to show them a few tricks and reshared the video, shot in 2017, as a gesture of support to the Black Lives Matter movement.

Donchet spins a soccer ball on her own finger and then places the spinning ball onto a stick a little girl beside her is holding. The ball seemingly never stops spinning. Donchet lifts her up as the crowd of children shout and cheer in awe of the special moment.

“There is nothing more beautiful than the mixture of culture, of color and of religion. It’s not white vs. black, it’s everyone vs. racist,” she wrote in the caption.

The video receiver over 196,000 views on Instagram.

“Thank you for all that you do,” one user wrote.

“This is so lovely,” another said.

“Amazing! Congratulations!” one person wrote.
