TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Cinco de Mayo is this weekend and it’s all we can “taco ’bout.”

Restaurants across the nation are participating in the festivities and giving customers food deals they can’t miss out on. The holiday, falling on May 5, celebrates Mexico’s victory over the French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862.

First Friday FIESTA Block Party at World of Beer

World of Beer, located on West Linebaugh Avenue, will throw a family-friendly party filled with live music, $4 Mexican beers, $6 margaritas, and $8 loaded nachos. The event will take place on Friday, May 3 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Urban Cantina

Celebrating all weekend long from Friday, May 3 through Sunday May, 5, the restaurant, located on East Madison Street, is offering drink specials all day long and a DJ on Sunday.

Miguelitos Taqueria Y Tequilas

The restaurant, located on West Kennedy Boulevard, is offering $10 cocktails, including the Miguels Signature Margaritas, Raspberry Kiss & Paloma.

Miguel’s Cafe’s Mexican Seafood & Grill

This Mexican cuisine-inspired restaurant, located on West Kennedy Boulevard, is also offering $10 featured craft cocktails, including their Signature Margarita, Cantarito and No Hablo Español.

Bar 23fifty

This Mexican bar located in Palm Harbor is offering $3 Corona’s. $3 Camarena Tequila, $5 margaritas, and $5 Johnny Vegas shots on Sunday, May 5 from 3 p.m. to 3 a.m.
