NEW YORK CITY (PIX11) – Never made your warm weather escape this winter? There’s always next year, and American Airlines is adding four new direct flights to its winter lineup to make that trip a little easier.

Starting November 5, the airline will offer a daily direct flight to Bridgetown, Barbados.

Then on December 7, Saturday-only flights will go direct to Saint Lucia, St. Maarten and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, American Airlines announced Thursday. Tickets for the new routes will be available starting on May 20.

Outside of New York, new American flights have also been added in Charlotte, Miami and Philadelphia. American Airlines’ winter schedule for next year will include 11% more departures with 10% more seats than last year, according to a representative of the airline.

“Customers will have more reasons to choose American than ever before for nonstop fun in the sun this year,” said Brian Znotins, American’s Senior Vice President of Network and Schedule Planning.
