Fly to Cancun for As Low As $79 From These U.S. Hubs Thanks to Spirit's Latest Sale
The sale is valid on travel from Feb. 7 through March 6.

Spirit Airlines has been flying to Cancun for two decades, and is celebrating the milestone with an anniversary sale that has flights starting at just $79.
The sale, which is valid on travel from Feb. 7 through March 6, is available on one-way flights to Cancun International Airport from several cities in the United States, according to Spirit. The sale requires a 21-day advance purchase and there are no blackout dates.
"For 20 years, we've been pleased to offer our Guests affordable, nonstop service to Cancun, making the popular beach destination more accessible and affordable with the opportunity to save on airfare while enjoying more of Cancun's tourist attractions," John Kirby, the vice president of network planning at Spirit Airlines, said in a statement. "We're grateful to Cancun International Airport and our Guests in Southeast Mexico for embracing our business model and trusting us with their travels for the past two decades."
Fly from Chicago, Dallas, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, New Orleans, and more starting at just $79 one-way. Or fly to Cancun from Philadelphia starting at just $89 one-way and from Baltimore starting at just $129 one-way.
In addition to the sale fares, Spirit is offering members of its free loyalty program 1,500 bonus points on round-trip flights and 750 bonus points on one-way flights to and from Cancun. To take advance, customers must book by March 14 and travel by April 30.
The sale comes as Spirit plans to introduce more routes to Mexico by operating flights between Tulum’s brand-new airport and both Fort Lauderdale and Orlando starting March 28.
It also comes as both Spirit and JetBlue have vowed to appeal a decision by a federal judge to block a much-talked-about merger between the airlines, ruling it was unlawful because it violated antitrust laws. The merger would have made the carrier the fifth largest in the U.S.
