Flower Power set for Friday in Middlebury

May 15—MIDDLEBURY — Middlebury Then and Now 's free May event, "Flower Power," will take place Friday at Memorial Park, 111 N. Main St., from 4-6 p.m.

All attendees will have the opportunity to make a caterpillar habitat (with live caterpillars) to take home as well as attend a live animal show presented by Mark's Ark (bring a chair or blanket). The event is appropriate for people of all ages and is free to attend.

Hay Huey will have food available for purchase.

The event will be moved to the Middlebury Public Library, 101 Winslow St., in the community room in case of inclement weather.

"Thank you to our event sponsors, Grand Design RV, Varns & Hoover Hardware and Village Inn as well as to the Middlebury Parks and the Middlebury Public Library for allowing us to use the park and facilities as needed," a news release stated.
