Shell Bay, Auberge Resorts Collection, will open in 2025 with an expansive rooftop pool, a private golf course, a yacht marina, and a boutique hotel and residences.

Florida's notoriously beautiful and vacation-perfect Gold Coast will welcome a notable addition to its impressive lineup of resorts geared toward luxury travelers. Shell Bay, located along the Intracoastal Waterway north of Miami, will open its doors in 2025, treating guests to luxe amenities such as a private yacht club with a 48-slip marina and a Greg Norman–designed championship golf course. The forthcoming Auberge Resorts Collection property, set on 130 acres, will also have 108 upscale residences.

"We're thrilled to continue to grow our presence on the Atlantic Coast with the addition of Shell Bay, one of the most stunning waterfront locations in South Florida, to Auberge Resorts Collection's portfolio of one-of-a-kind properties," Dan Friedkin, chairman of Auberge Resorts Collection, said in a press release sent to Travel + Leisure. "This seaside enclave will offer a unique slice of paradise, unlike any other destination in the Miami area."

Award-winning studio AvroKO, tasked with designing the interiors of the 60-room hotel and 20-story residential tower, has set on modern, open-concept layouts and wraparound balconies with panoramic views allowing guests and residents to fully appreciate the resort's stunning surroundings.

Taking advantage of Florida's outdoor lifestyle, Shell Bay will offer outstanding sports and wellness amenities. While the Sunshine State has no shortage of excellent golf courses, Shell Bay's Greg Norman–designed championship golf course will certainly catch the attention of golf enthusiasts. In addition to being the first private golf course in Miami in 25 years, at 7,250 yards, it will also be one of the longest golf courses in South Florida. Guests will also have access to the property's 12-acre professional practice facilities and nine-hole Par 3 course.

And if golf isn't your cup of tea, an 18,000-square-foot spa and fitness center with an outdoor area for open-air practice, a boxing ring, and a Pilates studio will keep your heart pumping. Other highlights of Shell Bay's sports facilities include four Grand Slam tennis courts, paddle ball and pickleball courts, and a full-size basketball court.

Those who'd like to soak up vitamin D and enjoy jaw-dropping vistas will be able to do so by the 14,000-square-foot rooftop pool, complete with a hot tub, cabanas, and poolside dining.

Multiple kid-friendly amenities, including a children's play lab and creation studio, a teens' club and game room, and a multi-sports simulator lounge, will transform Shell Bay into the ultimate family vacation destination.
