For the second time this month, a Florida McDonald’s restaurant has become the center of a racist confrontation caught on video. In this case, a male employee at a drive-through window called a customer the N-word as another called the police on him. At least one of the people involved has been fired.

The video shared on Thursday does not show what led up to the conflict, but begins with the person holding the phone accusing an employee of using the racial slur against him.

“I don’t give a f***, n*****,” the male employee responds, standing behind a female employee who is calling the police and calls the customer “Boy.”

As the customer taunts the McDonald’s employees, saying they’re getting fired for using such language, the male employee continues, “I will f*** you up, you f***ing n*****.”

“You’re getting fired too, because you’re a manager,” the customer says. “You’re supposed to handle this differently.”

The man appears to be at the window on foot, and he remains there as the woman on the phone describes him to the police and says, “He’s threatening to kill my manager. He pulled my window open.”

Twitter user @notjustamonth shared the video she said she got from her Facebook feed and identified the location as Spring Hill, Fla. Soon enough, it was shared by others, including the site Atlanta Black Star.

In a press statement, McDonald’s franchisee Javier Illas expressed regret about the incident.

“I am aware of the incident involving one of my employees earlier this week,” reads the statement sent to Yahoo Lifestyle. “The disturbance with the customer prompted our management team to call the police right away; and we did an immediate investigation on this matter. This behavior goes against the values and standards that I expect from employees in my restaurants. This employee displayed improper and unacceptable conduct and is no longer with the company.”

It’s unclear which employee Illas is referring to, the man who used the N-word or the woman who called the police.
