This New Florida Glamping Spot Offers Dome Stays — Each With 13-foot Window Ceilings

South Florida is getting its own glamping experience, and it could rival any luxury hotel getaway.
In November, Lulu Glamping, a project by entrepreneur Volodymir Hahonin, plans to open its doors — or rather, its tent flaps — to travelers hoping to reconnect with nature without having to sacrifice a high-end experience. The resort, which sits about a 40-minute drive from Miami International Airport (MIA), boasts a collection of 1,100-square-foot geodesic domes that can each sleep up to four guests at once.

In the domes, guests will find living and sleeping spaces, which come with king-size beds, kitchenettes, lounge areas with TVs, and separate bathroom domed areas with a soaking tub and shower. But, perhaps best of all is each dome’s 13-foot window ceiling, so guests can go to bed under a blanket of stars.
Outside the domes, guests can indulge in some spa time in their private hot tub or just unwind on their private patios and dine under individual pergolas. Or, when they’re ready to socialize, guests can make their way to the fire pit and barbecue area and share a moment with their fellow glampers.

Lulu’s also wants to ensure its guests maximize their stays and curates experiences to help them do just that. That includes offering outdoor yoga classes and workout spaces, and manicured nature trails so guests can take a walk and unwind. The staff is also happy to help guests explore the surrounding area, including assisting with needs for visits to nearby attractions like Coral Castle and the Miami Zoo.
Want to book a stay? Your best bet is to donate to the company’s Indiegogo fundraising campaign. While it’s already fully funded, guests can still “donate” to book their experience at a steep discount. You can still book a one or two-night stay with an early bird discount of 39 percent off, a three-night stay at 42 percent off, a five-night stay at 47 percent off, or a week-long stay at 50% off. But hurry. Dates are booking up fast. And once it’s funded, prices will indeed be going up.
