Florence Brewing Company: eighth anniversary block party

(FLORENCE, Colo.) — Florence Brewing Company (FBC) is celebrating its eighth anniversary with a free and family-friendly block party from noon to “dark-ish” on Saturday, May 11.

Attendees can order from various food trucks, including SoCo Chicken with fried chicken and chicken sandwiches, From the Flames with wood-fired pizza, P-Dubs Rolling Smokehouse with barbecue favorites, and Lala’s Tacos with old-fashioned tacos.

FBC’s main taproom and the Other Side at FBC will have a variety of beer, specialty cocktails, spirits, mocktails, hard slushies, wine, and sodas available to order.

Party-goers can enjoy live music by Copacetic Chaos from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and exclusive eighth anniversary shirts will be available in limited quantities.

The whole community is invited to bring their own lawn chairs to 200 South Pikes Peak Avenue in Florence, and kick back and celebrate.
