Flip or Flop's New Season Reveals What It's Really Like to Work with Your Ex
Exes and HGTV stars Christina Anstead and Tarek El Moussa are back for the ninth season of their hit television series Flip or Flop. This is the second season the pair has filmed together after their split back in 2017, but the very first time they're working together flipping houses after Christina's marriage to Ant Anstead (who she's also expecting a child with). This might seem like it spells out drama for the two former spouses, but the premiere episode had everything but that.
Christina and Tarek's first encounter in this season of Flip or Flop is actually in Tarek's new home, which the Christina on The Coast star pointed out is eerily similar to her own home. "They're both kind of like modern farmhouse," she said.

Tarek asks her about her new home and renovations, which of course, have been pretty pricey—I mean, have you seen Christina and Ant's backyard oasis?! After the small talk, they both get down to what really matters: their two children and—of course—the finances that come with having children.
"Did you see that tuition is due for her school, right?" Tarek asked, referring to their daughter, Taylor.
"Both of their tuitions," Christina said, as their son Brayden ran around the kitchen.
"Okay, so we have the school tuition, we've got to take [Taylor] clothes shopping, because I told her we'd do that," Tarek said. "She grows like every freakin' day."
"Her? Him!" Christina said, talking about their son Brayden. "His feet! His feet grow so fast."
After their co-parenting banter was finished, the pair went right down to business—discussing their next flip. While the two home renovation experts may have a past together, they're not letting it affect their future.
Flip or Flop airs every Thursday on HGTV at 9 p.m. ET.
