Get Flawless Skin Without The Heavy Makeup

"My sister and I always say 'it's all about the foundation' (meaning your skin), so take good care of that and you'll look even better once you apply yourmakeup."

Choice words fromDanielle Powell, a community editor who works with us at the Huffington Post. Admittedly, it was her glowing, healthy skin that caught our attention, which seemed practically free of cover-up.

"I rarely put makeup over my entire face anymore," she told us. "I line the parameter with my foundation, use my concealer on my nose, chin and under-eyes, and use a kabuki brush to blend it all in. Then I sweep blush over the balls of my cheeks. Depending on the day we may get fancy and throw on somelip colorandeyeliner. Makeup shouldn't be a mask, and naturally our faces are more than one matted tone from forehead to chin. Little makeup and the rightbrusheswill help achieve a natural glowing look. Less is less, and less is better. I like my face."
