Joanna Gaines is a renovation powerhouse, providing design inspiration for her legions of fans. But the 45-year-old entrepreneur is becoming a fashion icon too. On her shows, like Fixer Upper and Magnolia Table, the mom of 5 typically keeps it pretty casual, wearing practical jeans and T-shirts or sweaters, or even hoodies and baseball caps. But when she steps out for a special event, she shows off her signature style, and fans are sure to take notice.
Joanna was recently in New York City for Cherry Bombe Jubilee, a special conference celebrating women in the world of food and drink. As the author of two best-selling cookbooks (with a third due out May 2!) and the star of a cooking show, Joanna was a very qualified speaker.
Kerry Diamond, the event's founder, shared a photo from the event posing alongside Joanna, who she thanks for bringing her "sparkle" to the 10th-annual Jubilee. Joanna commented, "What an amazing event celebrating women and food and all the beautiful things! Still smiling from this weekend in NYC."
For the big night, Joanna wore a vibrant belted midi skirt with a cream scoop-neck top. Joanna's exact skirt is from Zimmermann (there's a matching wrap top too!). If the $530 price tag is not in your budget, check out this similar skirt for $30.
Joanna has been spotted recently wearing a trendy gray "Les Tigres Versailles" sweatshirt, both in a cooking video and on her trip to Korea. Amazon offers a similar sweatshirt for $31.99. Regardless of whether she's looking casual or dressed up, if Joanna is wearing it, we want it!
