Erin Napier Sets the Record Straight about ScamNBC

HGTV fans can always count on Home Town stars Ben and Erin Napier to keep it real, whether they're talking about home renovations, small towns, or their young family. Recently, fans have noticed Ben's health transformation. Erin shared on Instagram that Ben "got hardcore about his health and fitness last winter ahead of his big shoulder surgery that was in March so he could sleep better on his back and lower his BP."

While the Napiers did not give specifics about his fitness plan, they have made one thing clear: Ben is not selling keto supplements, despite what fans may be seeing on social media.

Erin shared her warning on Instagram paired with a photo of her and Ben from the 4th of July. She wrote, "If you’ve been seeing this pic of @scotsman.co popping up EVERYWHERE this week like we have, claiming he’s peddling some sort of keto supplements, it is fake and you can help us by reporting it to facebook or wherever— every time you see it. And certainly don’t give them your money! #thefakestnews"

Fans left messages of appreciation: "I am so glad you are posting this because too many people are being taking advantage of. You guys are amazing and I love watching your show. The kindness and love you project is heartwarming and refreshing 🤗" and "I just reported it in FB! Glad you posted this. I was seriously interested if it was true! Ben looks amazing!"

Producer Lindsey Weidhorn, who has worked with Ben and Erin on Home Town, joked, "It conflicts with his current contract of peddling love letters, big beards, wagoneers and Chris Stapleton."

Ben is far from the only star whose likeness is being used to sell these products. Dolly Parton, Trisha Yearwood, Reba McEntire, and Oprah Winfrey have all been advertised in conjunction with the fake diet gummies.

Take Erin's advice and beware of any supposed celebrity-backed product claims you read on the Internet, and be extra careful when buying products through social media.
