'Fixer Upper' Fans Beg Chip Gaines to "Be Careful" After Alarming Instagram Post
At 48, Chip Gaines is starting to realize that if he keeps up with all of his risky antics during the demo and rebuild process of home renovation, he may not bounce back like he used to. One thing fans have always loved about Chip is how bold yet clumsy and borderline unsafe some of his tactics can be. He recently shared a screenshot of a mid-renovation accident, and Joanna's face says it all.
"I'm getting too old for this... please tune into @magnolianetwork to watch me hurt myself. *If you don't watch was it even worth it??," Chip captioned his Instagram post. The Gaines family has a spin-off of Fixer Upper coming to Magnolia Network on November 8 called Fixer Upper: The Hotel.
Fans were quick to join in on the joke and urge Chip to be careful. "Let the chips fall where they may. 🤷🏾" and "As the old saying goes: If a Chip falls in a house and nobody hears it, did he make a sounds?," fans joked. Others commented on Joanna's reaction as she braced herself for the fall saying, "@joannagaines Face 🤣🤣 It's like she knew already but still braced for it 😂😂" and "I can hear this picture," fans chimed in. "Oh no! Please be careful Chip!," another commenter urged.
It's safe to say Chip felt the effects of that fall the next morning and he might be nearing the age where he should consider investing in a stunt double or maybe just taking a little extra care when it comes to elevated surfaces.
