Five-Year-Old Nails Her First Makeup Tutorial

A 5-year-old girl from Scotland is wowing the Internet this week with her mad makeup skills.

Evie Mitchell's adorable first tutorial has gone viral after her mom Stephanie Menzies shared it on YouTube and Facebook. "Evie has been desperate for me to share this with everyone," Menzies shared as a caption to the video.

"I'm obsessed with makeup," the blonde-haired mini-cosmetics expert tells us as she skillfully waves a large brush across her face. After about 13 minutes, she has perfected her look, from her eyes, to her lips.

I mean, it might be too much for a 5-year-old. She still does a better job than I do making up her face. I've barely mastered the application of tinted moisturizer. True story.

But as Menzies told The Huffington Post Canada, "I'm very strict when it comes to makeup — Evie isn't allowed to wear it outside the house." She adds about her daughter, "She likes to put a bit of gloss on before we leave the house and I see no problem with that. But she would never be allowed to go out with a full face on. She's still a baby in my eyes!"

As a mom-of-three girls myself, I don't know when I'll feel comfortable with them putting on more than Chapstick. Um, 35?

Meanwhile, it seems Evie, who has shown an interest in beauty since she was a toddler, hopes to become a makeup artist when she grows up.

Until then, she is loving all the attention her tutorial is getting. "She doesn't quite understand how popular her tutorial has become," Menzies told Parents.com, adding, "I've been trying to explain to her as best I can that people in America have seen her video and that's what she wanted, [because] she loves America!"

"She actually told my mother-in-law today that she would love to visit America and meet everyone who has commented on her video," her mom also told us. Can she make up our faces while she's here?
